An action has been taken against the priest who was caught kissing female students at St. Monica’s College of Education.
Earlier, the Anglican Church disclosed how saddened they were about the issue.
They said they will deal with the priest following investigations.
A few hours after their statement was released, Ghananewspost.com has gathered that the priest has been relieved of his post.
The decision was reportedly taken after a crunch meeting.
“The Church is saddened by the news and wishes to state expressly that, thorough investigation has immediately been instituted into the matter and the action of the said Priest would be dealt with in accordance with the norms and values of the Anglican Communion where morality is extremely revered in the Church.
“…all efforts are being made to engage the students concerned through counselling sessions to avert any psychological issues that may arise as a result of the viral video,” the leadership of Anglican Church, Ghana said in their statement.
