Suspect in Abesim murder case remanded again – This is why

The suspect in the Abesim murder case, Richard Appiah, has been remanded for three weeks.

Richard Appiah reappeared before the Kaneshie Circuit Court presided over by Her Worship, Ama Adomako Kwakye, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

The Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Lawrence Kofi Anane prayed for more time to complete the investigation.

This was after he had informed the court that postmortems have been conducted on the dead bodies and a medical doctor was working on the full report.

After his plea was upheld, Newshuntermag.com has learnt the case was adjourned to October 5, 2021.

Richard Appiah is expected to reappear before the court on this date.

The residents of Alaska, near Abesim in the Bono Region, were shocked after the 28-year-old was arrested for allegedly committing such a heinous crime.

This is the second time that he is being remanded.
