Rev Owusu Bempah’s court case adjourned – get more details here

The court case involving Rev Owusu Bempah has been adjourned.

The leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International appeared before the Accra Circuit Court today, September 20, 2021.

During the sitting, the prosecutor, Police Chief Inspector Simon Terkpetey prayed the court to give the police a week to amend the charges against Rev Owusu Bempah and four other individuals.

Rev Owusu Bempah’s lawyer, Gary Nimako Marfo, prayed the court to adjourn the case to October 25 since the accused was on bail.

However, the Presiding Judge, Mrs Afia Owusuaa Appiah, indicated that their next sitting would determine the period for the adjournment.

The court insisted the plea from the prosecution to get up to October 25 to amend the charges and the fact sheet was too long.

The matter was therefore adjourned to October 5, 2021.

This comes after he was granted bail some days ago.
