A woman reportedly beheads husband at Akyem-Bosuso in Eastern Region


A 27-year-old woman, Rachel Tetteh, has allegedly decapitated her husband at My God Village at Tei Glover, a farming Community near Akyem-Bosuso in Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region.

According to a Joy News report sighted by Newshuntermag.com, the suspect supposedly trailed the deceased, Daniel Lartey, 35, who was on his way to the farm and allegedly cut off his head with a machete.

It is suspected that she used the deceased’s cutlass to commit the crime after pushing him down along the path to the farm.

The sad incident comes after a misunderstanding between them on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at about 7:30 am.

The man was found dead in a pool of blood after the police went to the crime scene.

Currently, the body has been deposited at the New Tafo-Akyem Government Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
