Court remands Kelvyn Boy following an alleged assault


Ghanaian musician, Kelvyn Boy has been remanded.

According to a GNA report, the ‘MoMo’ singer was remanded by the Adenta Circuit Court after he allegedly assaulted a lady.

The report seen by Newshuntermag.com said Kelvyn Boy is having two kids with the complainant—and they were together for about ten years.

Kelvyn Boy has been charged for assault after he allegedly stamped on the ribs of the woman and hit her hand with an iron rod.

He has however pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Kelvyn Boy was also accused of taking a speaker and 32-inch Nasco TV set and two chairs valued at GHS 5,500 from the complainant’s shop.

His bail application will be heard on Wednesday, February 23, in the court presided over by Mrs. Sedinam Awo Balokah.

The alleged assault reportedly happened when the complainant asked for money to take care of their sick daughter.
