President Akufo-Addo

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has penned a congratulatory message for the Black Stars of Ghana.

Ghana qualified for the 2022 World Cup after holding Nigeria to a 1-1 drawn game in Abuja.

Thomas Partey’s tenth-minute goal helped Ghana to book a ticket for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup—through the away goal rule.

It ended in a joyous moment for Ghanaians as Nigeria couldn’t double their goal after equalising from a penalty kick in the first half.

Reacting to this in a post-Newshuntermag.com has seen, President Akufo-Addo stated that the Black Stars have made Ghana proud.

He added that he is very proud of the team’s exploits

Nana Addo tweeted: “Warm congratulations to the Senior National Football Team, the Black Stars, for their dogged display in Abuja, and qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. I am very proud of the team’s exploits. They have made the entire nation proud.”
