Ghana to play against Portugal, Uruguay and Korea Republic in Group H of the 2022 World Cup


Ghana’s opponents in the group stage of the Qatar 2022 World Cup have been revealed.

The draw for the 2022 World Cup took place in Qatar today, April 1, 2022.

It was held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

Ghana was drawn into Group H of the tournament.

The Black Stars of Ghana will battle with Portugal, Uruguay and Korea Republic in this group.

Ghana qualified for the 2022 World Cup ahead of Nigeria through an away goal rule after a 1-1 drawn game in Abuja on Tuesday. This preceded a goalless first leg result in Kumasi.

Ghana will play its first group match with Portugal.

This will be Ghana’s fourth appearance in the Mondial.

The 2022 World Cup will commence from November 21 to December 18, 2022.
