World Cup 2022: Asamoah Gyan calls on Ghanaians to pray for Black Stars to deliver

Ex-Ghanaian captain, Asamoah Gyan, has called on Ghanaians to pray for the Black Stars to deliver at the World Cup 2022.

While some Ghanaians are unhappy about the players selected for the tournament, he implored them to support the team.

Gyan said they should pause their complaints and wait till Ghana play its first match in the tournament.

He tweeted: β€œEveryone have shared his or her opinion about the BLACK STARS. 26 man squad is out now so what we have to do now is to support those in camp now. If u have any comments, wait till after the first game of the tournament. But for now, let’s pray for the team to deliver πŸ™πŸΏπŸ™πŸΏπŸ’ͺ🏿πŸ’ͺ🏿.”

A section of Ghanaian fans has been complaining after Coach Otto Addo announced the final squad on Monday, November 14, 2022.

Ghana will play against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H of the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
