Alan Kyerematen Reportedly Sends His Resignation Letter To President Akufo-Addo

The Trade Minister of Ghana, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, has reportedly sent his resignation letter to President Akufo-Addo.

According to reports, he sent the resignation letter on January 5, 2023.

Much is not known about why he is resigning.

However, it is believed that he is resigning to focus on his presidential ambition.

Having contested in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer race in 2007, 2010 and 2014, Alan Kyrematen is hoping to clinch victory in the next internal election.

He was defeated by Nana Akufo-Addo in the previous contests.

Alan was sworn in as the Trade Minister of Ghana in 2017.
