It was a tough time for the wife of Christian Atsu, Marie-Claire Rupio, during his funeral.
Atsu’s funeral took place at the forecourt of the State House in Accra on Friday, March 17, 2023.
Many public figures attended.
His wife struggled to read a tribute written for him.
When she started to read the tribute, Marie-Claire Rupio broke down in tears.
Christian Atsu died following an earthquake in Turkey.
She is survived by his wife and three children.
