Young Ghanaian artiste, Black Sherif, has won the Best International Flow at the 2023 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Hip-Hop Awards.
He is the second Ghanaian to win in the category for which he has been nominated twice. Sarkodie first won it in 2019.
Although the event will air on October 10, 2023, a video snippet recorded from the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, hit the internet on Tuesday, October 3 which showed the “Kwaku the Traveller” star picking up the award on stage.
Black Sherif whose music career has soared extraordinarily over the past few years surpassed other great global competitors such as Central Cee and J Hus from the UK, K.O and AKA from South Africa, Gazo and Ninho from France, Tasha & Tracie and Major RD from Brazil, and Sampa The Great from Zambia.
His fans have taken to social media to celebrate the artist’s new milestone.
Congrats to Blacko!
