Sarkodie has finally reacted to a comment made by Shatta Wale on his collaboration with Bob Marley.

On Friday, January 20, 2023, the new version of Bob Marley and The Wailer’s ‘Stir It Up’ featuring the Ghanaian rapper was dropped.

Commenting on it during an interview, Wale said Sarkodie should be praised for featuring a ghost.

His comment came at a time that some people think the collaboration was a smart move.

Reacting to this in a Twitter space, Sarkodie, told a fan who asked what he thinks about his colleague’s statement that it was a compliment.

“That’s not bad. That’s a compliment.”

“I think the distraction is when something bigger and huge way more than us happen because it goes beyond Sarkodie. This is not a Sarkodie project. This is not a Shatta Wale project. This is for everybody who can get something out of this. So we don’t have to disrupt the goal and take it to a place we don’t want it to go,” he stated.
