The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Black Avenue Muzik, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, well-known as D-Black, has revealed why Freda Rhymz left his label.

Freda left Black Avenue a few years ago.

While much was not revealed about why she left, Mr Blackmore disclosed what led to Freda’s exit in an interview with Jay Forley on 3Music TV.

He asserted that the young Ghanaian rapper and songwriter left because she was impatient.

D-Black said he lined up a project for his artistes after shooting a video and used reactions from the public to make a decision.

After the video, the Black Avenue Muzik CEO stated that Sefa garnered more attention—so her project was to be done first.

After Sefa, Black indicated that the next projects were to be from Dahlin Gage and Freda.

However, Freda enunciated she couldn’t wait for a year or more, according to Black.

This, D-Black averred, contributed to them agreeing to let Freda Rhymz go after her contract expired.
