Ghanaian actress and television presenter, Nana Ama McBrown, has recounted growing up without her father.

Nana disclosed in an interview with Berla Mundi on the Day Show that she got to know her father at an older age.

McBrown lived with her mother, aunt and grandmother at an early age.

The host of Onua Showtime talked about her humble beginnings.

Nana Ama further revealed how often she visits her father after reconciling with him.

“To be honest, I came from zero, I came from grass to grace, I did not have my dad till I grew up but my dad is there. We’ve reconciled and solved that problem. I don’t want to hurt him.

“I visit him every two months and chat with him,” Nana Ama McBrown stated.

While growing up, she aimed to be a nurse—but not anymore.

“Being a nurse is okay, but I am sure most nurses will love to be in my position or nurse in my hometown, Asuom. I’ll earn a salary, so I won’t change who I am for anything.”
