What happened to tear gas or rubber bullets – Prince David Osei questions after Ejura shootings

Prince David Osei

Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei has condemned the shootings at Ejura in the Ashanti Region.

Two (2) protesters have reportedly perished while four (4) sustained injuries following a clash with the Military.

Some youth of Ejura hit the streets to protest against the killing of Macho Kaaka, a social activist in the area.

Unfortunately, the protest did not end peacefully–as other souls have been lost.

Reacting to this in a post sighted by Newshuntemag.com, the popular actor questioned why the Military did not use tear gas or rubber bullets instead of aiming and shooting at them with live bullets.

He added that Ghana’s peace would be jeopardised if care is not taken.

Prince David Osei tweeted: “Aiming at protesters and shooting at them is a NO NO what happened to tear gas, rubber bullets……. let’s pray for Ghana …Ghana like joke like joke we about destroying the peace we enjoy as a nation!! Few weeks ago we were voted the 2nd most peaceful country in Africa! #pray4Ghana.”
