Disappointed Sarkodie reacts to Ejura killings

Prolific Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, well known as Sarkodie, has reacted to the killings at Ejura in the Ashanti Region.

Two people were killed after some security personnel fired live bullets at them during a protest over the murder of a social activist known as Macho Kaaka in the area.

Four others sustained injuries—and they are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

Reacting to this in a post seen by Newshuntermag.com, Sarkodie seemed disappointed.

“Definitely not the “Ghana” we preach to the world…” he wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Ghana’s President, Nana Akufo-Addo has tasked the Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery, to come out with a detailed report about the incident within ten (10) days.
