John Dumelo backs Mahama’s do-or-die comment; says they will protect the ballot box with all they have

Ghanaian actor and politician, John Dumelo has solidified Ex-President John Dramani Mahama’s do-or-die statement.

During his Thank You Tour in Techiman, the NDC leader stated that the 2024 general elections will be a do-or-die affair at the polling stations.

His statement attracted a lot of condemnations.

He hit back and stated that what he said was an idiomatic expression—so school dropouts won’t understand.

Reacting to this in a post seen by Newshuntermag.com, John Dumelo explain what Mr Mahama meant.

“Simply put, elections must be won at the polling stations. We will protect the ballot box with all we have. We won’t cheat but we won’t allow ourselves to be cheated,” he wrote on Twitter.
