Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo, known in private life as Rosemond Brown, will serve a jail term after a ruling by Accra High Court.
Her appeal was dismissed by the court on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
She was given a 90-day jail term some months ago.
Her legal team then filed an appeal to challenge the ruling of the Accra Circuit Court on April 16, 2021.
The Criminal Division of the court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey upheld the Circuit court decision on grounds that the Circuit court’s decision was not manifestly excessive.
“This court will not interfere and the appeal is therefore dismissed,” Justice Aryee stated.
Akuapem Poloo’s child is to be taken care of by any competent person in her family.
She has been in trouble for posting a nak3d photo with her son.
