Shocking details about why Ofori Amponsah refused to perform at an event in France have emerged.
The renowned Highlife musician was earlier announced as part of the performers at an event ahead of Ghana’s 65th Independence Day celebration.
The event dubbed “65th Independence Celebration-France” was organized by Ghana Creative Arts and Ghana Coordinating Council Paris-France in collaboration with the Ghana Embassy, France.
Apart from Ofori Amponsah, Kwaisey P, Akwaboah, KK Fosu and Dada KD were billed to perform.
It took place on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Espace Venise, Paris-France.
After the event, radio presenter, Ola Michael, has revealed on Neat FM why Ofori Amponsah did not perform.
In a video Newshuntermag.com has come across, Ola said Ofori Amponsah reportedly declined to fly from Ghana to perform following the organizers’ refusal to buy a flight ticket for his partner.
