E-Levy Implementation: Yvonne Nelson says President Akufo-Addo lured Ghanaians with his big English

Popular Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has thrown shots at President Akufo-Addo following the implementation.

The controversial electronic transaction bill was passed in Ghana’s Parliament a few months ago.

The boycott of the Minority in Parliament and the opposition of many Ghanaians did not stop the President from assenting the E-Levy bill into law after its passage.

On May 1, 2022, 1.5 per cent of deductions of the E-Levy on electronic transactions began.

Sharing her view on this development in a post seen by Newshuntermag.com, Yvonne Nelson stated that President Akufo-Addo lured Ghanaians with his big grammar.

She lamented the sufferings of Ghanaians while the politicians are enjoying the wealth they have amassed after voting into power.

“You lured Ghanaians with your BIG BIG english @NAkufoAddo,” Yvonne wrote on Twitter.

She added: “

MORE money for the politicians ( and their families and side pieces ) SMALL money for the People ( Ghanaians who stay in long queues / scorching sun to vote ) Same ol’ story…”
