What Shatta Wale said about his court fine

Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, well known as Shatta Wale, has reacted to the GHS 2,000 court fine.

An Accra Circuit Court fined the popular musician after he pleaded guilty to the publication of false news on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

Shatta Wale faced trials following a hoax report about him being shot.

In a post seen by Newshuntermag.com, the Shatta Movement leader expressed gratitude to his lawyer, the judge and fans.

He stated that he is free at last.

Shatta Wale wrote: “FREE AT LAST Being thankful and expressing gratitude is an important part of being happy in life. I wish to take this opportunity to say thank you to my Lawyer, Jerry, the Judge, Shatta Movement and the entire nation for the support through these trying times. #OnGod.”

He further asked his fans to make contributions via MoMo for him to pay the fine.
