CAF bans Ghana’s Black Maidens after a complaint Morocco lodged over age cheating

The Black Maidens of Ghana have been banned by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Ghana cannot compete in the next two qualifiers of the U-17 Women’s World Cup.

This comes after Morocco protested the ages of Nancy Amoh and Rasheeda Shahadu. They claimed that they were overage.

The Ghana Football Association failed to respond to the allegations by writing to the CAF Disciplinary Board.

However, Ghana can still appeal this decision to the CAF Appeal Board.

Ghana and Morocco’s encounters had a lot of controversies.
