Well-known Ghanaian Gospel musician, Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong, simply known as Great Ampong, has given a clarification about a supposed beef with Daddy Lumba.
It was widely reported a few days ago that the Gospel musician will be releasing a song to diss Lumba.
According to reports, Ampong thought Daddy Lumba’s song ‘Ofon Na Ɛdi Asɛm Fo’ was directed at him.
While fans were anticipating for Ampong to release his diss song for Lumba, he has made a U-turn.
He told Agyemang Prempeh on Power FM that his ‘Nyame Akatua’ song is not a diss targeted at Daddy Lumba.
Great Ampong stressed that he would have mentioned the veteran musician’s name in the song if he was referring to him.
He further explained that he intended to compose a different song for Lumba—but he did not reveal when it will be released.
