Popular Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson did not sit unconcerned after a tweep ridiculed Sarkodie over the victory of Tems at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

The Nigerian artiste won her first Grammy award following her contribution to Future’s song ‘Wait For U’.

After her big win, a Ghanaian Twitter user said Tems was in KG2 when the renowned Ghanaian rapper stated that he is on his way to Grammy.

Unhappy about his tweet, Lydia commented and explained why Nigerians are always ahead.

Lydia Forson responded: “The difference is while they promote and support their own; WE denigrate, mock and use our platform for silly comparisons and debates. Want better? Do better. ✌🏾❤️.”

“Maybe if we spent more time promoting Ghanaian music, movies, artist etc instead of constantly mocking, nitpicking and finding faults; we would all be a lot more successful.

But from artist to audiences alike, we spent way more time being against each other, than supporting.”
