John Dumelo is preparing to face Fred Nuamah at Ayawaso West Wuogon in the NDC parliamentary primaries.
Some days ago, film director and the CEO of Ghana Movies Awards, Fred Nuamah opened up on his decision to contest at the Ayawaso West Wougon Constituency.
After his declaration, John has also disclosed his readiness to vie for the NDC parliamentary candidate position ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Mr Dumelo lost to Lydia Seyram Alhassan of the NPP when he first contested in 2020.
John Dumelo revealed what informed his decision in a tweet.
He wrote: “After an extensive consultation with my God, my family and our party faithfuls in Ayawaso West Wuogon! This’s the second coming. #Still IDey4you.”
This will be a battle between two of Ghana’s public figures.
