Ghanaian rapper, Samuel Adu Frimpong, well-known as Medikal, has advised musicians.
He urged them not to focus much on awards.
The AMG rapper told his colleagues not to get depressed if they do not win awards.
During an interview with Jay Forley on 3Music TV, Medikal admitted that it’s good to win an award. However, he does not see the need for a musician to get depressed over awards.
He added that musicians should not feel like it is the end of the world if they do not win an award.
The famous Ghanaian rapper said music is his passion, and he is entertaining his fans through music.
According to him, he became aware of the money he could earn from music a few years ago.
His statement comes after he could not win any award at the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) after grabbing seven (7) nominations.
