Veteran Ghanaian musician, Adane Best, has responded to the decision by Black Sherif to sing his song at the VGMA 2023.
In a post on Facebook, Adane said Sherif is where he is today because of his humility and hard work.
The ‘Mafio’ singer said he expects the best for the young musician.
He made this statement after Black Sherif sang his ‘George’ song after winning the Artiste of the Year at the VGMA 2023.
Adane Best thanked Sherif for acknowledging his song.
He wrote: “Hello Black Sherif, I know this journey hasn’t been easy. For sure, you’ve got what it takes to get through it. Your humility and hardwork have brought you to where you are today, I don’t expect anything but the best. Keep on keeping on! Thanks for acknowledging my music.
