Popular event promoter, Alordia discloses why Sarkodie, Gyakie and other Ghanaian artistes are cancelling their UK and Europe tours

UK-based event and music promoter, Alordia, has disclosed why Sarkodie, Gyakie and other Ghanaian artistes are cancelling their tours in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Some weeks ago, Gyakie postponed her UK and Paris shows, stating that it was due to ill health.

Sarkodie, on the other hand, cancelled his United Kingdom and Europe JAMZ tour.

During a discussion with Kwame Dadzie on Joy Entertainment’s Twitter Space, the popular UK promoter revealed why these shows are being cancelled.

He claimed these artistes cancelled their shows due to low ticket purchases.

Alordia said the organizers of these tours for the Ghanaian artistes are foreigners, so they do not know the target audience—which is the Ghanaian community abroad.

Admitting that the organizers have money, the event promoter argued they do not have the numbers.

Touting his capability of having what it takes to put up successful events for Ghanaian artistes in the UK, Alordia postulated the need for them to involve him and other Ghanaian promoters when signing an agreement with Live Nation and other companies.

Listen to what he said in the audio below.
