Mohammed Kudus will be a world-class player if… – Asamoah Gyan

Asamoah Gyan and Mohammed Kudus

Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has praised Mohammed Kudus for greatly improving his craft on the field.

According to him, the 23-year-old West Hammer has moved beyond his previous delays in releasing passes, which Asamoah Gyan in the past criticized on several occasions.

“I have seen some big changes in Kudus play. He is beginning to understand how to move into spaces to receive the ball and releasing the ball at the right time. If he continues like this consistently, he will be a world class player,” Asamoah Gyan wrote on X.

His comments come in the wake of Kudus’ impressive performance in West Ham’s game against Newcastle United on Sunday, October 8, at the London Olympic Stadium.

Kudus got on the field fifteen minutes to the final whistle as a substitute and scored a crucial goal in the 89th minute, ultimately helping the Hammers secure a point in the 2-2 draw.

He also won his third Man of the Match award, having already claimed the title in his two Europa League appearances.
