A 14-year-old girl, Leticia Kyere Pinaman has sadly committed suicide in the Bono Region.
A report available to Newshuntermag.com said Leticia, who’s a final year student of Miracle Junior High School took her own life through hanging.
She was reportedly seen hanging lifeless in the dining hall of the school by her colleagues.
The sad incident happened at Baakoniaba, a suburb of Sunyani in the Bono Region on Monday, May 17, 2021.
Gifty Acheampong, the Housemistress of the school told the media that she heard the incident when she was cooking in the kitchen.
“I heard the students shouting, so I rushed there and saw her hanging…I quickly rushed to the church auditorium to call the proprietor and the proprietress,” she stated.
Consequently, the mortal remains of the deceased have been deposited at the Regional Hospital in Sunyani for autopsy and preservation.
