Ghanaian actor, politician and farmer, John Dumelo has outlined plans to revive the Komenda Sugar Factory.
Mr Dumelo stated in a post seen by Newshuntermag.com that he can revive the factory if given the mandate.
He said this will be done within 16 months.
John Dumelo made this statement after reports that the Komenda Sugar Factory is in a bad state again.
He tweeted: “I can revive the Komenda sugar factory if given the mandate. That factory will start producing sugar within 16 months (considering planting and harvesting of sugarcane). The factory needs about 200,000 tons of sugarcane(pa) to operate at full capacity. We can do it!”
