Ghana’s Ex-President, John Dramani Mahama is not giving up on his call for Ghanaians to support the Black Stars.

The NDC leader has been calling on Ghanaians to support the team since the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations began.

In another post seen by Newshuntermag.com, Mr Mahama reiterated his call as the Black Stars of Ghana faces Comoros in the last Group C encounter at 7 PM today, January 18, 2022.

He stated that the team represent the symbol of our national pride–so the citizens must support them with one heart.

“Ghana plays Comoros today at the #AFCON2021 to fight for the third position in the group; in order to possibly qualify for the next stage of the tournament.

“This is not the tight situation we expected, considering the pedigree of Ghana’s Black Stars in football history.

“But the Black Stars are our team and represent the symbol of our national pride. We must support them with one heart and urge them to fly the flag of Ghana very high with utmost commitment, concentration and courage.

“I wish the Black Stars the very best outcome in today’s encounter with Comoros.

Go Black Stars! Go!” Ex-President John Mahama wrote.

The Black Stars can progress to the next stage of the tournament if only they beat Comoros.
