Former French Ambassador, Anne Sophie Avé, has called on the government of Ghana to provide diplomatic passports for some musicians in the country.
She made this plea in a recent tweet.
H.E Sophie Avé stated that these musicians are creating a positive global image for Ghana.
The Former French Ambassador to Ghana mentioned Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, Shatta Wale, R2Bees and King Promise as the musicians who deserve to get diplomatic passports.
To her, the best ambassadors cannot do what these musicians can do in a lifetime when it comes to their contributions to Ghana on the international stage.
“Ghana 🇬🇭, you should give these guys diplomatic passports: they put Ghana to the world better than even the best ambassadors could in a lifetime @sarkodie, @stonebwoy, @blacksherif, @shattawalegh, @r2bees and @IamKingPromise,” the Former French Ambassador tweeted.
Anne Sophie Avé is known for her contributions to the growth of Ghanaian music during her time as an ambassador in Ghana.
She played a key role to ensure the success of the ‘Accra In Paris’ concert in 2022 and other events.
