Famous Ghanaian actor, Alex Kofi Adu, well-known as Agya Koo, has reaffirmed his support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) despite criticisms concerning his political affiliation.
A video making waves on social media recently captured the actor wearing a “Showdown” T-shirt, dedicatedly campaigning for NPP flagbearer candidate Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, while dancing to an endorsement song he had produced titled “Onoa”.
The actor received varied responses from Ghanaians, with some accusing him of seeking monetary favours with his show of support and others praising him for choosing the ruling party.
In response, he took to his page on X (Twitter) to reiterate his allegiance to the NPP, indicating that the party will have his vote once more come next year’s general elections.
