Former Black Stars player, Kevin-Prince Boateng, has been baptized.
The now-retired 36-year-old shared photos on his Instagram going through the baptismal process and added a bible quotation declaring his faith in God.
“Revelation 3:20 – And it’s up to US to open the Door or not. JESUS is The Way, The truth, and The Life,” he wrote.
Boateng, who is a German-born Ghanaian played crucial roles in Ghana’s performance during the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup tournaments.
He grew up playing for Hertha Berlin’s youth side before being promoted to the senior team in 2005.
Earlier this August, he decided to hang up his boots, after a nearly two-decade-long professional football career.
