The church of Rev Owusu Bempah has given a blow-by-blow account of what led to his arrest.
Rev Owusu Bempah, the leader of Glorious World Power Ministries International, was arrested on Sunday.
He was denied bail following an appearance at the Accra Circuit Court on Monday, September 13, 2021.
The popular Prophet will reappear before the court on September 20.
His church detailed what accounted for his arrest in a statement Newshuntermag.com has seen.
According to them, a scuffle started after one of Rev Owusu Bempah’s Junior Pastor was manhandled and arrested by some unknown men.
They disclosed that the Prophet was detained when made a follow up to the Greater Accra Regional Police Command.
The church through this statement dismissed some allegations being circulating on social media about Rev Owusu Bempah.
