Ghanaian actor, Clement Bonney, widely known as Mr Beautiful, has claimed the movie industry in the country was destroyed by the government led by President Akufo-Addo.
He accused the ruling government of destroying the Ghanaian movie industry in an interview with ZionFelix.
The famous Ghanaian actor said the rate at which this government has given television licenses to people is alarming.
Following the establishment of these television stations, he stated that they are promoting foreign movies.
Mr Beautiful complained that the influx of foreign movies in the Twi language (voice dubbing) is not helping the Ghanaian movie industry.
Since these TV operators got their licenses from the government, he argued that there should be a regulation or instructions for them.
He cited how Nigerian authorities are censoring foreign content and promoting local ones.
Mr Beautiful was resolute about the harm that the President Akufo-Addo-led government has caused to the Ghanaian movie industry.
