Ghanaian footballer, Christian Atsu, has been rescued after an earthquake in Turkey.

Atsu was reported to have been ‘trapped in rubble’ following the earthquake which occurred in Turkey on Monday dawn.

The earthquake was said to have affected Turkey and Syria.

The rescue team put in much effort to search and rescue some of the victims.

According to officials, more than 1,300 people lost their lives in the disaster, while a further 6,000 are injured.

Following the multiple reports about Atsu’s involvement, a lot of Ghanaians prayed for him through social media.

There have been conflicting reports about the rescue of the Ghanaian player.

But in a new development that Newshuntermag.com has gotten hold of, Christian Atsu has been found alive.

In a tweet sighted by News Hunter Magazine, Turkish journalist, Yagiz Sabuncuoglu revealed he was pulled from the wreckage alive.

This will come as a relief for all those who have been praying for Atsu and other victims who survived.

Currently, the Ghanaian footballer plies his trade with Hatayspor football club in Turkey.
