The Anglican Church of Ghana has launched an investigation after a priest was captured kissing female students at St. Monica’s College of Education.
The video of the disgusting incident has been trending for some time now.
Reacting to it through a statement Newshuntermag.com has seen, the leadership of the church said they are saddened by the news.
They opened up on their readiness to deal with the priest after they are done with their investigations.
Measures are also being put in place to help these students.
“The Church is saddened by the news and wishes to state expressly that, thorough investigation has immediately been instituted into the matter and the action of the said Priest would be dealt with in accordance with the norms and values of the Anglican Communion where morality is extremely revered in the Church.
“…all efforts are being made to engage the students concerned through counselling sessions to avert any psychological issues that may arise as a result of the viral video,” part of the statement read.
